I recently had a 2nd miscarriage and after a torture of blood work my dr. told me that i have an inherited blood clotting disorder, factor 2. she said i probably inherited it from my mother, who died of a heart attack at the age of 29. this scares me completely to death and all the dr. offers is, why do u keep thinkin ur goina bleed to death if u get pregnant, call me when u get pregnat again. duh? am i over reactin or what? she tells me that if i do get pregnant again i will have to inject blood thinner into my stomach every day of my pregnancy which will probably not go to full term just as a precaution. has anyone else had a sucessful pregnancy with this type of blood disorder and what r my chances of not surviving this disorder if i get pregnant? this is so stressful to grasp to say the least, the dr. offers no further info. on the subject. any responses r greatly appreciated.
